Itinerary
Day 1: Chachapoyas
11:00 AM استقبال at Jaen airport, transfer to Chachapoyas, and acclimatization day.
Day 2: Kuelap Fortified Citadel
09:30 AM Departure to Kuelap. Stop at Macro with an explanation of the settlement. Cable car ride to Malca Pampa, visit to the interpretation room, and guided tour of Kuelap, including the Kuelap 360° virtual experience. Return by cable car, lunch, and back to Chachapoyas.
Day 3: Karajia Sarcophagi and Utcubamba Canyon
09:30 AM Trip to Cruz Pata and hike to the Karajia Sarcophagi. Regional lunch in Luya – Lamud. In the afternoon, visit the Utcubamba Canyon viewpoint and spot the Gocta Waterfall. Return to Chachapoyas.
Day 4: Gocta Waterfall
09:30 AM Transfer to the town of Cocachimba. Two-hour hike to the Gocta Waterfall (771 m). Viewing, photos, swim, and return to Cocachimba. Typical lunch and return to Chachapoyas.
Day 5: Huancas Town City Tour and Return to Jaen
08:00 AM Visit Huancas town: square, church, handicraft shops, Sonche Canyon and Huanca Urco viewpoints, Gocta Waterfall viewing, and archaeological area. Stop at the Luya Urco viewpoint and visit the Yana Yacu well. Transfer to Jaen and return home.
